This website is mantained from Barcelona, Spain. Master Hsu Yun is
a main help to know the wonderful Dharma door of Ch'an, a Chinese
buddhist tradition practiced by lots of people around the world.
This site it's independent of Buddhist
centers or other webs. There is not any organization behind this
work but just one individual. My goal is to compile information about
this Master from authentic sources. It is useful for me and also
I hope it can be useful for your study and practice.
Actually, there is certain confusion with this important figure of Chinese Buddhism
in modern age. Some texts of doubtful origin are spreaded by internet and some Western
groups are using his name to teach different things, and sometimes quite far of Ch'an
Buddhism teachings and Xu Yun words.
Master Xu Yun never founded some school in the West. He
took charge the translation of his biography and thoughts to Charles
Luk(1898-1978), the best way to access to his teaching. In this website you can
